Horsehage Molligrass
MolliGrass is a blend of quality
dried grass and straw which is chopped and dust extracted. It is then mixed with
a minimal amount of low sugar molasses to produce a nutritious, free-flowing and
palatable high fibre forage.
The grass is dried at high temperatures to kill any bacteria and spores, and
preserve the nutrient value, leaving the forage clean and healthy.
MolliGrass is suitable for horses and ponies in all levels of work and has a
nutrient level similar to that of good quality hay. It can be fed as a partial
or complete hay replacer, or in place of chaff to prolong eating time and
prevent bolting of hard feeds. It also promotes good digestion by stimulating
the production of saliva and slowing the passage of food through the gut.
