BarleyPlus is a natural non-heating feed made from extruded whole barley and whole linseed, with added limestone, flour and salt. It is highly digestible, and offers all the benefits of a traditional boiled barley and linseed mash but in a convenient form. The use of whole linseed, as opposed to the more common linseed oil, improves the fibre content and increases the digestibility of BarleyPlus. Linseed also helps maintain healthy skin and glossy coat, and provides high levels of energy without the heating properties of most other cereals. The limestone flour supplies calcium to rectify the calcium/phosphorus imbalance normally found in cereals, and the salt provides electrolytes and improves palatability.
